Claremore woman dead after auto collision in Rogers County

CLAREMORE — A Claremore woman died Tuesday from injuries received in a two-car auto collision on SH66, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

According to report of OHP Trooper Floyd, 18-year-old Joel Reimer of Claremore was westbound in his 2005 Dodge Pickup on EW44 near SH66 in Rogers County just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

At the same time, 30-year-old Ashley Budde, also of Claremore, was traveling on SH66 in her 2012 Ford Focus.

With Budde were Robin Webb, 51, of Claremore, and two minors, a one-year-old and a four-year-old, both of Claremore.

For unknown reasons, Reimer failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck by Budde’s vehicle, according to reports.

Following the collision, Reimer was transported by private vehicle to St. John Owasso, where he was treated and released with minor injuries.

Budde was transported by unknown means to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where she was treated and released with minor injuries.

Webb was transported by Air Evac to St. John, where she expired from trunk internal injuries.

The minors were both taken to St. Francis Tulsa where the one-year-old was treated and released with minor injuries and the four-year-old was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal injuries.

Seatbelts were equipped in both vehicles and in use by all except for Reimer.

Trooper Floyd of the Rogers County detachment of Troop B investigated the incident, with assistance by Lt. Choate, also of Troop B.
