CLAREMORE —
The father of two 8 - and 9 year old rape victims filed a complaint Thursday against District Attorney Janice Steidley with the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the RCSO report the father said the DA’s office released his personal information to Rhett Morgan, reporter for the Tulsa World without his consent.
The Claremore Daily Progress contacted Morgan and he verified that he had received the information from the DA’s office.
The report further notes that the information was turned over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
OSBI Officer Dennis Franchini verified Friday that his office has received some information and at this time there is no investigation involving the DA’s office.
The father also revealed that he has filed a complaint with the Oklahoma Bar Association due to Steidley’s actions in the pending juvenile case.
The OBA was contacted however legal council for the OBA could not verify the complaint due to confidentiality.
Steidley was contacted for comment and declined.
