Memorials set for Patti Page

CLAREMORE — Memorial services for musical icon and Claremore native Patti Page have been scheduled this week in California.  

Private viewing is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 at the El Camino Memorial Sorrento Valley Funeral Home in El Camino, Calif.

A public viewing will follow on Wednesday at the Solana Beach Presbyterian Church at 10 a.m. in Solana Beach, Calif., with a private burial to follow.

Flowers may be sent to El Camino Memorial - Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92121.

Persons wishing to make memorial donations in Page’s honor may do so to: Society of Singers, Inc., 26500 W. Agoura Rd., 102-554, Calabasas, CA 91302, or GRAMMY Foundation (Attn: Annual Giving), 3030 Olympic Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90404.

Page died in her sleep early New Years Day, after struggling with health issues for more than a year.
