Turner, Snyder wed June 9

Megan Nicole Turner, of Claremore, and Jeremy Ryan Snyder, of Oologah, exchanged vows in a June wedding. The couple was wed Saturday, June 9, 2007, at Blue Starr Church of Christ. Adam Mearse officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Lelia Turner of Claremore. She is the granddaughter of Jerry and Jean Turner of Truman, Ark., and the late Jack and Wenona Miley.

Megan is a 2006 graduate of Claremore High School. She is currently attending Rogers State University majoring in elementary education. She works at Make It Special.

The groom is the son of Randall and Terri Snyder of Oologah. He is the grandson of George and Janice Snyder of Claremore, Monty and Sharon Hadley of Nowata, and Jerry and Judy Hesslen of Nowata.

Jeremy is a 2006 graduate of Oologah High School. He is employed at Centrilift-Baker Hughes in Claremore.

The church was decorated in the bride’s colors, silver and aqua, and with white pillar candles, white roses, and Boston ferns. Candlelight illuminated the church.

The bride wore a white, halter gown, with beading and pearls on bodice. A chapel length train elongated the skirt. Megan carried a bouquet of white roses and baby’s breath.

Tiffany Snyder, sister of the groom, served as maid of honor. Melia Turner and Meredith Turner, sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids. All the attendants wore aqua silk dresses.

Faith Shirley and Brelynn French were flower girls, while Zackery Mearse was ringbearer.

Cody Fry, best friend of the groom, was best man, with Joseph Fuller and Weston Wofford standing as groomsmen.

Cord Bostick, Alex Riggs, and Trey Lambert were ushers. Sage Haverstick was guestbook attendant.

The reception was held at Claremore Community Center with Denita Hancock, Bradleigh Hancock, Whitney Riggs, Toby Riggs, and Jeri Kohler hosting.

After honeymooning in Hot Springs, Ark., the couple will reside in Claremore.
