FOYIL —
The 2011-12 Foyil High School Varsity Cheerleading squad is going to state.
The squad has worked so very hard to accomplish this goal and has high expectations for the competition on Oct. 1 at the Oklahoma State Gallagher Iba Arena in Stillwater.
From 6 a.m. practices to Friday night football games, these girls have dedicated themselves to giving it their every effort in all that they do.
Six seniors lead the squad. They include football captains, Kassandra Almanza, Brooke West, and Kirsten Sanders and basketball captains, Blake Schloss, Fawntana Miller and Hannah Simerly.
They are followed by junior, Katie Purtell.
Also on the squad are sophomores, Erika Ward, Cherra Bernal, Brooklyn Bell, Kristal Morrow, Mikayla West and two freshmen, Alex Barnes and Sara Ellinger.
They are coached by Jessica Sabharwall.
They will most definitely be giving it their all on Oct. 1 at the state competition.
