Hoskin takes oath of office

OKLAHOMA CITY — State Rep.  Chuck Hoskin began his fourth term in the Oklahoma House of Representatives last week after lawmakers were officially sworn into office at a ceremony at the Capitol on Wednesday.

“I appreciate the opportunity to represent the citizens of Craig, Northern Mayes and Northern Rogers counties for another term,” said Representative Hoskin, “I will continue to be a voice in Oklahoma City for the people I serve especially in the areas  of education, rural issues, seniors and veterans.”
Hoskin also continues to serve in a leadership position as the Minority Floor Leader and will be responsible for guiding members’ legislation through the legislative process, monitoring the daily floor  work of the House chamber, and assisting in shaping the legislative agenda to meet the needs of Oklahomans.
“In addition to my constituents, I appreciate the confidence Leader Inman and the rest of our Caucus place in me and I look forward to the challenges of the upcoming Session,” said Hoskin.
The Legislature will convene in January and the new legislative session will begin on Feb. 4, 2013.
