Oologah’s Tristan Owens placed second in the Class 4A State Cross Country meet Saturday afternoon in Edmond.
Owens ran a 16:22.49 in the 5K event to finish behind first-place Baylor Harvey, of Cleveland. Harvey won the state title with a time of 16:21.79.
Lincoln Christian’s Jordan Masterson was third with a time of 16:40.74.
