Owasso clinches District Title

SAND SPRINGS — The Owasso Rams clinched the District 6A-1 championship Friday night with a 52-33 win over Sand Springs.

The district title marked the first time since 1986 that Owasso has owned bragging rights in Class 6A.

Running back Scottie Prealow led No. 2 Owasso with 167 yards on 22 carries and two touchdowns.

Quarterback Jaylen Lowe also passed for 173 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

After leading 17-6 in the first quarter, Owasso exploded with 21 points in the second quarter to build a 38-13 halftime lead.

The Rams are 6-2 overall.
