Gundy to Arkansas?

CLAREMORE — OStateIllustrated.com is reporting that Oklahoma State head football coach Mike Gundy will be named the next coach at the University of Arkansas.

Though, OStateIllustrated.com has not confirmed or denied that Gundy is leaving his alma mater in Stillwater, sources close to the Arkansas coaching search are reporting that a new head coach will be named today at a press conference.

Gundy, in his eighth season at OSU, coached the Cowboys to a 7-5 overall record and recently accepted a bid to play Purdue on Jan. 1 in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.

The Claremore Daily Progress will continue to follow this coaching search and keep readers informed if and when Gundy does leave OSU for Arkansas or any other school.
