CLAREMORE —
Parents of Claremore High School students will have a unique opportunity to walk the halls - just as students will every school day - at the annual Back to School night, Tuesday at CHS.
Administrators have coordinated the evening so that parents will have a chance to meet each of their child’s teachers and learn a bit about their expectations for the school term. Two sessions are being offered - parents may choose one of the time frames from 6:30pm-7:30pm or 8:00pm-9:00pm. Parents will follow their student’s actual class schedule and visit each class for a 15 minute time period.
“We hope parents will take this opportunity to see the school, their child’s classes, and learn what Claremore High School is all about,” said Todd Steidley, CHS principal.
Students will also have the opportunity to pick up their class schedule, get their school ID, open a lunch account, pre-order a yearbook, and sign up for clubs and organizations. Additionally, RSU and Northeast Technology Center will have representatives available for questions and enrollment information.
“Students who deposit money in their lunch account during back to school night will be eligible to win an IPod,” Steidley said.
Claremore Schools begin classes on Thursday, August 19th.
