Dorothy ‘Dot’ Plett

CLAREMORE — Funeral service Dorothy “Dot” Plett will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Chouteau.

Burial will follow at Parkside Cemetery in Inola under the direction of the Inola Funeral Home and Crematory.

Dorothy passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at the age of 77.

Survivors include her children, Lydia K. Laughlin and husband Harold; Pamela E. Reed and husband Ron, Jimmy D. Plett, Rebecca D. Shambrook and husband Anthony, Vickie S. Hood and husband Kevin, Dorothy A. Chastain and husband James and Rudolph Plett Jr.; 21 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

    Graveside service for Bonnie Mae Thompson will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Alessi officiating.     Rebecca made the journey to heaven on May 5, 2013. She battled cancer of many kinds for the past seven years. She never lost faith in God, claiming victory all the way to the end. She was so spirited and full of life. She loved and cared deeply for all her friends she met through the consignment shops. She loved to visit. Rebecca enjoyed life.
