Ellen Gay (McGehee) Caldwell

Claremore, OK — Ellen Gay (McGehee) Caldwell was born to Jay and Melva McGehee on March 27, 1958, in Tulsa. She grew up in Tulsa and attended the Seventh-day Adventist schools. After her marriage she was blessed with two sons, Jason and Joey. Ellen was an accomplished musician, becoming the church organist at the age of fifteen.

She moved to Texas and attended Southwestern Adventist University and later worked in the accounting department of the Tree of Life, a large distributor of health products. Her life was interrupted when a benign tumor invaded her body. She fought a brave and valiant fight but passed to her rest on Oct. 17, 2009, with her family at her side.

She is survived by: son, Jason, of Alvarado, Texas; granddaughter, Emily, of Cleburne, Texas; son, Joey, of Claremore; parents, Jay and Melva (Esteb) McGehee, of Claremore; brother, Scott, and wife, Billie, of Tulsa; nephew, Jessie, of Tulsa; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ellen now sleeps awaiting the second coming of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
