Violet Lee “Vi” Lane

CLAREMORE — Funeral service for Violet Lee “Vi” Lane will be 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28, at First Baptist Church of Dewar with Rev. Jack Vance officiating.  

Burial will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends 5-7 p.m.

Vi died Fri., Dec. 21, 2012, at Claremore Nursing Home at the age of 90.

She is survived by her sons:  Dennis Roy Lane and wife, Shirley, and Gary Dale Lane and wife, Tammy all of Claremore;  4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was so spirited and full of life. She loved and cared deeply for all her friends she met through the consignment shops. She loved to visit. Rebecca enjoyed life.
