Rhonda L. Morganroth

CLAREMORE — Services for Rhonda L. Morganroth will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 in the Chapel of the Garden at Rice Funeral Service; burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1—6 on Sun. Dec. 23, 2012 at the funeral home and family will receive visitors from 2-4.  

Rhonda passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012.  She was 54.

Born Sept. 11, 1958 in Claremore, Okla., to Donnie and Martha (Payne) Woodson, Rhonda was reared and educated in her birth community. She graduated from Chelsea High School and continued her education by attending college.  She worked for a time with Dunlap-Riggs as their office manager.  In Sept. 1977 she met David Swinney and later they made their home here in Claremore.  

Rhonda’s hobbies included photography, scrapbooking and spending time with her family.  She was a wonderful cook and had many recipes that were handed down from her grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking her family’s favorite meals whenever they asked for them.  She was an animal lover and had many pets through the years, but her dachshunds, Little Girl and Stormy were her constant friends.  Rhonda and David took many trips together traveling to Missouri and different places in Oklahoma.  

Her caring and compassionate nature was always evident in her life.  She had many good friends and was ever ready to lend a helping hand when needed.  Her family would say she was the heart of their very existence. Her grandchildren became the love of her life and she spent as much time with them as she could.

Those who survive include her companion, David Swinney of Claremore; her son Jeremy Hill and wife Jodi also of Claremore; her stepdaughter LaDawna Swinney of  Bremerton,WA; grandchildren, Morgan Murray and Gunnar Hill; her mother and step-father, Martha and Larry  Arrowood of Claremore; her siblings, Dawn Thompson and companion Garey Bue, John Woodson and wife Angie, Shawn Woodson and wife Leona all of Claremore, Charlotte Davis and husband Tommy of Salina and Garrett Woodson and wife Hayley of Tuttle, OK and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Woodson.

    A celebration of the life of Dale F. Bruer will be 10 a.m., Monday, June 17 at First Baptist Church in Claremore. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-5 p.m. on Sunday with family receiving visitors from 3-5. Dale passed away on June 13, 2013. He was 80 years old.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends 6-8 p.m.

Family will receive visitors from 5-7 on Thursday evening at the Funeral Home.  Alice passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013. She was 66.

Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 13 at the funeral home.  Family members will be there from 5-7 p.m.

    Jerry passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013, at St. John Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 61.
