Sebastian Blaine DesChamp

CLAREMORE — A celebration of the life of Sebastian Blaine DesChamp will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2012 at Friendly Foyil Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest at Wards Grove Cemetery following the service under the direction of Rice Funeral Service.  Friends may visit at the funeral home from noon to 6:00 on Sunday afternoon. The family will receive visitors from 2 to 5 p.m.. Sebastian passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012. He was 17.

Born in Tulsa on May 15, 1995 to Rodney Mears and Malissa DesChamp, Sebastian was reared in both Broken Arrow and Foyil.  

He enjoyed his job in maintenance at Foyil Baptist Church and at Cullen Farm, but his passion was for mission work.  His goal was to study culinary arts and use these skills to serve the Lord by blessing the lives of others.

Sebastian had a wide range of interests; he played guitar, swam on the Stingray swim team, enjoyed drawing and skateboarding and just hanging out with family and friends. Sebastian dedicated his life to the happiness of others.

Loving son, brother and friend, Sebastian is survived by his adoptive parents, James and Tere Maberry; his father Rodney Mears and wife, Sandra; siblings Amber Bush, Jessica Bailey and husband, Jessip, Jerry Mears, Gary Mears, Chyna Mears, Katie Davis, Ariauna Mears, Treanna and Jamie Maberry; many aunts, uncles and cousins; grandparents Jessie and Jerry Barnard, Ted and Kathy Mears, and maternal grandparents Ada Allison and Gayle Miller.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Malissa DesChamp, brother Jacob Mears, “Papa” Robert E. Hopkins and grandfather Doyle DesChamp.

    A celebration of the life of Dale F. Bruer will be 10 a.m., Monday, June 17 at First Baptist Church in Claremore. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-5 p.m. on Sunday with family receiving visitors from 3-5. Dale passed away on June 13, 2013. He was 80 years old.

Family will receive visitors from 5-7 on Thursday evening at the Funeral Home.  Alice passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013. She was 66.

Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 13 at the funeral home.  Family members will be there from 5-7 p.m.

    Jerry passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013, at St. John Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 61.
