Claremore, OK — Sarah “Mae” Wix, 85, of Tulsa, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009. She was born Oct. 7, 1923, in Claremore to John Henry and Sarah Katherine Franklin. She was a retired accountant for Sun Oil, a member of W.P.S. and N.E.A.T.S., enjoyed bowling and bunko. She is survived by nieces Karen Hamilton, Wanda Headrick, Pete Schaefer, nephews John, Doug and David Franklin. She was preceded in death by husband, Alva Wix, and six siblings. Graveside service was held 10 a.m. Monday at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Eastlawn Chapel.
