Kathyrn Diane 'Kathy' Spears

CLAREMORE — Funeral service for Kathyrn Diane “Kathy” Spears will be 11 a.m., Thurs., Jan. 24, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel.  Burial will follow in Lone Elm Cemetery.

Kathy passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at her home at the age of 49.

The daughter of Frances Steven Spears and Mattie (Teague) Fleming was born September 26, 1963, in Kansas City, Mo.  

Kathy graduated from Claremore High School in 1983. Kathy was a homemaker.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandson, working puzzles, watching pro wrestling on TV, reading, and studying the Bible. Kathy had a joy of life that she shared with everyone.  Kathy was generous, kind and giving.  She brought joy to everyone she met.  She was full of love and compassion.  

Her love knew no bounds and she always made sure she said, “I love you”.

She is survived by her father, Frances Spears of Tulsa;  mother, Mattie Fleming of Claremore;  son, Jared Spears of Claremore; brothers:  Bill Spears of Waco, Texas, Steve Spears of Nowata, and Fabian Spears of Claremore;  sister, Jo Brenda Foreman of Claremore;  and grandson, Enoch Jonas Spears of Claremore.

    Graveside service for Bonnie Mae Thompson will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Alessi officiating.     Rebecca made the journey to heaven on May 5, 2013. She battled cancer of many kinds for the past seven years. She never lost faith in God, claiming victory all the way to the end. She was so spirited and full of life. She loved and cared deeply for all her friends she met through the consignment shops. She loved to visit. Rebecca enjoyed life.
