Timothy Bryan Gable

CLAREMORE — Timothy Bryan Gable, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 in Denver, Colo. Tim was born in Tulsa on Dec. 13 , 1969, to Gary D. Gable and Donna S. Smith Leipold. He grew up in the Claremore area, where he attended Sequoyah Schools. He has also lived in Arizona and Kansas before joining the Navy in June of 1989. His studies included seamanship, close order drill, Naval history and first aid.

Upon leaving the military, he moved to Arkansas, where he worked at Marvin’s IGA in Gravette, as well as working alongside his brother, on a cattle farm near Southwest City, Mo.

Tim allowed little grass to grow under his feet as he journeyed throughout the states. Tim was an avid OU fan, and loved most sports.

He loved to fish and was an exceptional baseball player when he was a child. He enjoyed music, and writing lyrics to songs.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Olen and Gearldine Gable,  Harvey and Anna Mae Smith, and Lee and Doris Cripps.

Survivors include his parents, Donna and John Leipold, of Norton, Kan. and Gary and Tina Gable of Gravette, Ark., One Brother Chris Gable, of Norton, and Two sisters, Lauren (Dan) Kennedy of Kearney, Neb., and Jeanelle (Brad) Harris of Decatur, Arkansas, Nieces, Kiala Kennedy and Kenlee Harris, and Nephew, Hudson Harris and his grandparents, Bill and Val Leipold. Aunts and Uncles, Barbara McClure, of Claremore, Patricia Ann Fowler, of Arizona, Darlene Akers, Donna and Danny Martin, Ron and Barb Cripps, Kansas and numerous cousins and friends who will miss his ornery laugh, warm hugs, and conversation.

    Rebecca made the journey to heaven on May 5, 2013. She battled cancer of many kinds for the past seven years. She never lost faith in God, claiming victory all the way to the end. She was so spirited and full of life. She loved and cared deeply for all her friends she met through the consignment shops. She loved to visit. Rebecca enjoyed life.
