CLAREMORE —
Alice Claudette Cottrell, a resident of Claremore, formerly of Henryetta passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 in Tulsa, Okla. at the age of 72.
She was born Sept. 7, 1940 in Henryetta, Okla. to Claud Maurice Vaughn & Ida Mae (Manning) Vaughn.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Connie Lynn Cottrell-Dismuke, son, Jerry Ray Cottrell Jr., and by one brother Richard Vaughn.
Alice is survived by her husband Gerald R. Cottrell of the home; 3 grandchildren, Alisha Eslinger & husband William of Fruitvale, Texas, Amber Lynn Ennis of Tulsa, and Deziray Germany of Las Vegas, Nev.; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sharon Vaughn Sivils of New Castle, Okla., and Dee Dee Johnson & husband Donald of Henryetta; and by her beloved Pomeranian named Paris of the home, as well as other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services were Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 10:00 am at Shurden Chapel (411 W. Division St.) with Dr. Lummie Newberry, officiating.
Interment followed at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers were William Eslinger, Logan Eslinger, and Mike Vaughn.

She was so spirited and full of life. She loved and cared deeply for all her friends she met through the consignment shops. She loved to visit. Rebecca enjoyed life.
