CLAREMORE —
Evelyn J Ruterbories passed from this earth on December 8th, 2012.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Willard Dover and Joyce Mellett. She is survived by daughter Corrine Colasurdo and Grandson Derik and daughter Son Bauer-Lane, husband David and Granddaughter Amelia. Evelyn also leaves her brother Bud Dover, wife Alice and her two nephews Patrick and Kevin.
During her time with us Evelyn was a dedicated mother with a generous and nurturing heart. She had a love of the arts which was fuelled by her own beautiful Operatic voice. Her family will remember her and how she loved to care for others.
As an RN, she dedicated herself to caring for others and she loved teaching. She was always known for going above and beyond when caring for people and helping them through hard times. She had been described by many as a plucky lady with a great sense of humor who loved to travel and experience the world. She was loved greatly and will be missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life was a private service with her family. It was always her desire to return to the town she loved of Seattle. Her daughters have made arrangements for her to be scattered at her favorite places in Seattle.
