Memorial service for Rose Billings will be 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 4, at Memorial Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Simpson officiating.
Rose passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City, at the age of 52.
The daughter of Ray Esparza and Micaela Hagood was born Oct. 25, 1960, in El Paso, Texas. While in school in California Rose was proud to be on the Drill team. She graduated from Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Texas.
Rose married Dennis Coats and they made their home Atlanta. They later moved to Midland, Texas, and then Claremore around 1983. On Oct. 20, 1990, she married David Billings at the First Christian Church in Chelsea.
They made their home in Claremore. Rose worked at Sunglass, in house cleaning, and at The Laundry Barn. She was a member of Memorial Heights Baptist Church, and enjoyed taking care of her granddaughter, Veronika.
Rose is survived by her husband, David of the home; father, Ray Esparza and wife, Mary of San Tan Valley, Ariz.; mother, Micaela "Micki" Hagood of Bogata, Texas; children: Michelle Armstrong and husband, Erik of Claremore, Jason Coats of Stillwater, and David Billings of Shawnee; siblings: Bea Fisher of Baytown, Texas, Cecilia Hammond and husband, Mike of Cove, Ark., Glenn Esparza and wife, Goldie of Denver, Colo., and Rob Esparza of Gilbert, Ariz.; and grandchildren: Veronika and Chandler Armstrong.

Rebecca made the journey to heaven on May 5, 2013. She battled cancer of many kinds for the past seven years. She never lost faith in God, claiming victory all the way to the end. She was so spirited and full of life. She loved and cared deeply for all her friends she met through the consignment shops. She loved to visit. Rebecca enjoyed life.
