Dog Expo 2010 event schedule

CLAREMORE — Saturday, Aug. 28:

•9 a.m. Dock Dog onsite Registration and Practice

•10 a.m. Big Air WAVE competition #1 (Indoor Arena)

•10:30 a.m. Oklahoma Stock Dog Demonstration (Outdoor covered arena)

•11:30 a.m. Big Air WAVE competition #2

•12:30 p.m. Oklahoma Stock Dog Demonstration

•1:30 p.m. Big Air WAVE competition #3

•2 p.m. Pet Ugliest Dog contest (indoor main building)

•2:30 p.m. Pet Cutest Dog outfit contest (indoor main building

•3 p.m. Oklahoma Stock Dog Demonstration

•3:30 p.m. Extreme Vertical competition

•4 p.m. Pet best Dog Trick

•7 p.m. Oklahoma Stock Dog Herding Trials

(Horse rides through out the day at the covered outdoor arena)

Indoor main building will be demonstrations: Roving Reptiles, Dog training tips and live music.

Sunday, Aug. 29:

•9 a.m. Dock Dog onsite Registration and Practice

•10 a.m. Big Air WAVE competition #4

•11:30 a.m. Speed Retrieve competition #1

•1 p.m. Speed Retrieve Finals

•1:30 p.m. Big Air Finals

(Horse rides through out the day at the covered outdoor arena)

Indoor main building will be demonstrations: Roving Reptiles, Dog training tips and live music.

People wanting to participate in the Dock Dogs competition need to go to www.dockdogs.com to sign up for the event. Anyone that wants to participate in the pet contest can contact the Claremore Animal shelter to register for the contest. (It is free to enter just have to pay to get in the event.) $7.00 for adults, $4.00 kids 14 to 5 and 4 and under free.

There will be 32 vendors, some dog rescue groups, pet vendors, photography, Oklahoma Wildlife Control and lots more for the entire family. There will be full concessions hamburgers and hotdogs, t-shirts for sale. We are anticipating a large crowd and hoping that everyone has a great time at this event. Tickets are available at www.gettix.net or at the door.
