CLAREMORE —
The Fifth Annual Women’s Show, “Ladies Lifestyle Extravaganza,” is scheduled for Saturday, March 27 at the Claremore Expo Center.
This year’s event will feature a full day of activities for women of all ages. New this year Sarah Roe, known world wide as the 918 Coupon Queen, will be presenting an information seminar that will help your family save money.
Roe would be the first to tell you that she did not envision becoming the “Coupon Queen” as a stay at home mom for two small boys. She began “couponing” seriously when her oldest son was diagnosed with life threatening food allergies. Their family was spending nearly $600 a month just to feed their son, and her family just could not do it anymore.
After reading the book “The Greatest Secrets of the Coupon Mom” by Stephanie Nelson, Roe quickly learned to cut her groceries in half. She has mastered the coupon technique and has added many more tips that will successfully cut your grocery bill by 50 to 80 percent.
Roe has just released a new book “The Power of Coupons 13 Ways to Save.” She teaches workshops across Oklahoma, including partnering with Whole Foods Market to teach Buying Organic on a Budget. She also offers the highly acclaimed “Black Friday Workshop.”
Based in Tulsa, Roe has recently partnered with Griffin Communications and is seen weekly on segments of “The News on 6” where viewers watch and learn her money saving secrets. She currently writes a monthly money saving column for Community Spirit Magazine, various magazines and newspapers across Oklahoma, and has published nationally for Kids With Food Allergies.
Roe was featured on the Joyce Meyer “Enjoying Everyday Life” broadcast nationwide.
The Ladies Lifestyle Extravaganza is a day long event featuring a wide variety of seminar topics to inform and entertain, including health issues, car care to Zumba fitness and even ballroom dancing instructions. Cooking demonstrations with guest chefs will be a tasty highlight of the event.
The first 1,000 ladies attending will receive an eco-friendly shopping bag. A variety of free samples will be given away by vendors including Walgreen’s, Avon, Merle Norman, Steve’s Saturday Store and more. Drawings will be held throughout the day for door prizes.
For a complete list of seminar topics, guest chefs and event schedule check www.claremore.org.
Recognized as one of the outstanding women’s events in the state, organizers expect Claremore’s show to attract an estimated 80 exhibitors with products ranging from beauty, jewelry and accessories, home decor and much more.
Claremore Regional Hospital’s Healthy Woman Program will have representatives on site to answer program questions, provide free information and registrations.
Tickets are $3 or $1 with a non-perishable food item. Food will be donated to the Good Samaritan Ministry to assist local families in need.
