CLAREMORE —
A Claremore woman accidentally parked her vehicle into the side of Golden Corral, causing the restaurant to close early Tuesday afternoon for maintenance.
“Evidently it seemed that the driver mistakenly hit the gas instead of the brake,” said Capt. David Willey, Claremore Fire Department.
The woman told Claremore Police officers that she expected to feel a curb slowing her down, but the wreck happened so fast she did not feel anything.
Baker Construction worked on repairs Tuesday, allowing the restaurant to reopen for regular business hours on Wednesday.
