More snow possible in Oklahoma by middle of week
December 27, 2009 — More snow will be possible in Oklahoma by the middle of the week, with temperatures not climbing higher than the 40s.
The National Weather Service said Monday will be partly cloudy, with highs in the lower 30s to mid 40s.
Overnight lows will drop into the lower teens to mid 20s, with mostly cloudy skies in the Panhandle and partly cloudy skies elsewhere in the state.
Skies will be mostly cloudy Tuesday with a chance of light snow in most of the state and a chance of light rain in the southeast. Highs will be in the lower 30s to around 40.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of light rain and light snow in central and eastern Oklahoma and partly cloudy in western portions of the state. Highs will be in the mid 30s to mid 40s.
A chance of light snow and light rain will continue Thursday, with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 30s to mid 40s.
New Year's Day will be clear to partly cloudy, with highs in the mid 20s to lower 40s.
