As of Friday, $22,756 had been donated to the annual Share the Spirit fundraising campaign to provide Christmas food baskets to Rogers County residents in need.
Funds are still being collected to offset costs. This year’s goal is $25,000.
Tax-deductible donations may be sent to Share the Spirit, P.O. Box 248, Claremore, OK 74018 or left at the Progress business office during business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Most recent contributors include Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Chapman, Teddy and Lelia Humphrey, Jenan Alderman, Beth Young, Jerry and Kathy Alexander, Mabel and Patricia Bennett, Sam and Lee Cox, Vernon and Tempa Bentley, Mike and Dell Bostic, Olivia Weaver, Bob and Donna Froman, Derek and Cheryl Dennis, and Dr. Clayton and Cynthia Rogers.
