Less than $4,000 needed to meet goal

Funds still being collected

Thanks to the generous support of Progress readers, Share the Spirit needs just $3,229 to make this year’s goal of $25,000.

Funds will continue to be collected to ensure the more than 1,000 Rogers County residents who applied for Christmas food baskets with the Department of Human Services receive them.

Tax-deductible donations can be made to Share the Spirit, P.O. Box 248, Claremore, OK 74018 or left at the Progress business office during business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Canned items are also being collected.

All donations are used to purchase food in Rogers County to be given only to Rogers County residents.

Donors will be listed unless anonymity is requested.

Recent contributors include E.G. and Jeanette, Roger and Sue Kelly, Peggy Rice, Patty Sue Reeder, Dr. R.W. Rohr, Bobby and Michael Shelton, Tommy and Kathy Andrews, Donna Henson, Kendall and Cheryl Dorsey, and A. & L. Gullett.

Thank you for helping your neighbors in need this holiday season.
