Downtown Claremore hosts craft festival this weekend

November 5, 2009 — Two of Downtown Claremore’s large historic properties will become home to Claremore Main Street’s Crazy for Crafts Fest, the Claremore area’s largest craft show.

The show will take place this weekend on Friday, Nov. 6, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 7, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The show will be at 420 W. Will Rogers Blvd. (formerly Antique Peddlers Mall) and 409 W. Will Rogers Blvd. (formerly Peachtree Antiquary).

Regular admission to the show is $3, but if you bring a nonperishable food item for the Share the Spirit Thanksgiving Food Drive, admission is only $1. The Share the Spirit Campaign is a local Thanksgiving food drive sponsored by the Claremore Daily Progress.

Admission price will get you into both buildings where handmade jewelry, candles, sweaters and holiday themed crafts will line the floors.

Children under 12 are admitted free and there is no charge for parking.
