Vinita Exit: GRDA moves some operations to Tulsa office

TULSA — The Grand River Dam Authority has moved some of its operations to a former call center in east Tulsa.

Chief Executive Officer Dan Sullivan told the Tulsa World   about a dozen engineering and information technology employees will be based at the Tulsa site fulltime, and at least 20 utilize the facility in some form or fashion.
Sullivan said the employees were able to move to the building even though the GRDA Board of Directors hasn’t approved any money to renovate the site.
Eight state legislators have criticized the purchase of the Tulsa building, which Sullivan contends will save money and make the hiring and retaining of engineering personnel easier.
The Grand River Dam Authority is based in Vinita.
