November 25, 2008 — Ray and Louise Halkyard of Sallisaw sat in the front window of Dorothy’s Flowers Friday night as living windows during downtown Claremore’s annual “Dickens on the Boulevard” celebration. Free entertainment, a Victorian costume contest, ghost stories at the Belvidere Mansion, a living Nativity scene, re-enactments by Territorial Marshals, Victorian street dances, Santa Clause, and ‘Tales from the Top’ upper floor historic tours were part of the weekend’s festivities, sponsored by Claremore Main Street.
