Winganon — The body of the missing female boater who was last seen Sunday with her boyfriend has been found.
According to Rogers County Sheriff’s Office officials, the body of Carol Crosby was located Friday afternoon and Lake Patrol crews recovered her body around 5 p.m. Crosby was found approximately three and a half miles from where the boat was located. She was wearing a lifejacket.
On Thursday around noon, authorities discovered the 14-foot aluminum boat Crosby and boyfriend Paul Jones, both of Winganon, were last seen launching from Allen’s Point on Sunday afternoon. The boat was found partially submerged approximately two miles northeast of Winganon bridge. Jones body was found about one mile from the boat’s location.
Jones’ body was found around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton.
