First Christian Church annual garage sale, Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., at the church, 200 E. 5th St. (use the 5th Street entrance).

Enrollment is being accepted for the upcoming “I’m In Control” diabetes class to be offered beginning April 30 at the Rogers County Health Department. For more information or to register, call Fran Hrdlicka, 341-3166.

Grace Chapel Freewill Baptist Church inside sale, Thursday through Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m., four and a half miles north of Foyil on Highway 66.

RSU’s Alpha Sigma Tau hosts second annual Womanless Beauty Pageant, 7 p.m., at the Will Rogers Auditorium on campus. Student and faculty admission with college ID is $2; general admission is $3. Partial proceeds go to Pine Mountain Settlement School.

Claremont Elementary hosts 1st Annual Bingo and Hot Dog Night, 6-8 p.m. Bingo cards, $2 each; hot dogs and chips, $2; and soda, 75 cents. Proceeds will be used to purchase student materials and incentives for special achievements of students.



FRIDAY

Verdigris Public Schools pre-kindergarten and kindergarten enrollment, 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m., at Verdigris Elementary. Bring the following: immunization record, birth certificate, proof of residency, Social Security number, CDIB and Tribal (if applicable). Current pre-kindergarten students do not need to attend.

Living Lord’s Supper presentation featuring a cast from area churches, 7:30 p.m., at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church.

SATURDAY (April 4)

Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, 1921 W. Holly Road, silent auction and yard sale, 8 a.m. Fish fry at 11 a.m. with fish, potatoes, beans, cole slaw, hush puppies, corn bread, desserts and drink. Cost is $7 for adults; $4 for children under 10; and free for children under 3. Proceeds go to new fellowship hall. The church is located at 1921 W. Holly Road (West Highway 20). Information: Rev. Eastern Stars Claremore Chapter #92 fundraiser breakfast, 7-11 a.m., at the Claremore Senior Citizens Center. Cost is $5 for all you can eat pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, orange juice and coffee.

Good Samaritan Ministry inside garage sale, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m., at 901 S. Faith Lane (follow signs through the parking lot of Faith Baptist Church). Donations go to the food pantry.

Sequoyah Basketball Banquet, 1:30 p.m., in the junior high cafeteria. Date rescheduled from Saturday, April 4.



MONDAY (April 6)

Sequoyah Band Boosters meeting, “Cookies, Coffee and Classics,” 7 p.m., in the band room. Selected band members will perform. Meeting will include the nomination and election of new board members.



TUESDAY (April 7)

Rogers County Retired Educators and Support Personnel meetting, 10:30 a.m., at Pizza Hut. Neucrology, election and Shirley Campbell, travel agent, will be on the agenda.



WEDNESDAY (April 8)

RSVP due for April 15 Rogers County Young Professionals Organization “Mega Mixer” 6:30 p.m., Claremore Elks Lodge.

Claremore High School Varsity Dance Team tryouts. A clinic to teach the tryout routine will be held April 6-8.
