CLAREMORE —
A Claremore man was found dead Wednesday morning — the victim of an apparent suicide, according to Claremore Police investigators.
“At 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, we received a call for assistance, with the reporting party indicating she believed a man had taken his own life,” said Lt. Chuck Goad, detective, Claremore Police Department. “Upon arrival at the north Dorothy residence, officers discovered the man near his home in a detached garage.”
The victim, whose next of kin are still being notified, had apparently taken his life some time during the night, Goad said.
After being pronounced dead by the medical examiner, the man’s body was released to a Claremore funeral home.
