RCB Bank announced today that Larry Green would take over leadership of RCB Bank, Stillwater. RCB entered the Stillwater market in July after acquiring the location and 10 others from the FDIC as a result of the failure of Home National Bank.
“I am excited to grow the bank and expand RCB’s presence in Stillwater,” said Green, RCB Bank, Stillwater Market President. “This city has a lot of potential for growth and is an exceptional community - I am very much looking forward to getting out and getting involved.”
Green joins the RCB Bank team after serving as President of Grand Bank in Claremore for the past five years. Prior to that, Green held multiple positions with New York Life and served as a managing partner in northeast Oklahoma.
“Larry has an exceptional reputation and will provide the guidance for RCB Bank’s growth in Payne County,” said Roger Mosier, RCB Bank President and CEO. “We have a lot of confidence in his leadership and feel secure in his ability to direct the growth of the bank and as a result cause RCB Bank to be a thriving member of the Stillwater community.”
Green has many ties to the city of Stillwater and the OSU community. He graduated with a degree in Agriculture from Oklahoma State University and has continued to develop relationships within Payne County.
“Had it been in any other community or for any other organization, I probably would not have given this another thought,” said Green. “Claremore is home but Stillwater is my second home and RCB is an outstanding organization. I am very excited about this opportunity and also about joining this tremendous team.”
Green and his wife Thresa have a grown daughter who lives in Little Rock. They have called Claremore home for 13 years and will now be moving to Stillwater.
