CLAREMORE —

A Rogers Count man died early Thursday morning from injuries received in a single-vehicle accident near Akin Road, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

According to the report of OHP Trooper Leonard McMillan, 24-year-old Christopher James Ketcham was northbound in his 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix 4-door on NS4190 Road in Rogers County at 12:44 a.m. Thursday.

As Ketcham approached the NS4190 and Akin Road “T” intersection, he ran through a stop sign and impacted an embankment, which pinned him inside the car for approximately three and a half hours, before he was extricated by the Tri-District Fire Department, according to the report.
