Teens run away from Thunderbird

PRYOR —

Two local teenagers are missing after running away from Thunderbird Youth Academy in Pryor last weekend.
Family members are reaching out for help from the public as they have had limited contact in the past 24 hours.
The girls ran away Sunday, Sept. 16 at approximately 6:30 p.m, according to reports.
Ianicxa Rodriguez and Janeece Hensley are both approximately 16 years old and were enrolled in the academy for a few months.
“We don’t want either of the girls to put them in situation that could be dangerous,” said Crystal Mydland, Janeece’s cousin.
The girls were last seen at 193rd E. Ave. in Tulsa.
Hensley was wearing pajama pants and a sweatshirt, while Rodriguez was wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
Hensley has shoulder length brown hair and Rodriguez has long black hair.
“We are getting complete cooperation from local law enforcement and they have been very helpful,” Mydland said.
If anyone has information about the girls, Mydland asks that they contact local law enforcement.
The Rogers County Sheriff’s office can be reached at (918) 341-3535 or anonymously via their tipline at (918) 341-3620.
