As a matter of policy, the Claremore Daily Progress will publish corrections in errors in fact that have been printed in the newspaper.
Corrections will be made as soon as possible after the error has been brought to the attention of the newspaper’s editor at 341-1101.
In an editorial in the Wednesday edition of the Progress it was incorrectly stated that Claremore City Council members approved a monthly fee stormwater fee increase.
Although council members Monday approved the moving forward of a stormwater study and discussed the possibility of a stormwater fee increased, nothing was voted on or decided regarding said rate increase.
Councilors will decide at a later date.
If approved a monthly $2 stormwater fee will be reflected on residential customers’ bills, $20 a month for small businesses and $50 monthly for large commercial industries.
Additionally, all fees for curbside brush and bulk pickup are posted on the city’s Web site at www.claremorecity.com.
