Letter to the editor
On Tuesday, Aug. 16, my son and I went to Woodlawn Cemetery to place a floral arrangement on my husband’s grave to commemorate the second anniversary of his passing.
We placed the saddle arrangement on his headstone shortly before 2 p.m.
My younger son went to his father’s grave site at 5:10 p.m. and found the arrangement gone.
When he notified me, we returned to the cemetery and looked all over for the arrangement thinking it might have fell off and blown away.
This was a fairly large arrangement made up of red, yellow and white flowers and greenery.
The arrangement was no where to be found. In checking with the cemetery office, the next morning, they had not found my arrangement either.
I am asking that if someone was at Woodlawn Cemetery Tuesday afternoon and found my floral arrangement to please return it to the cemetery office or bring it to the Claremore Senior Center where I work.
Thank you very much.
