Invitation to Bid

ROOF SENIOR CENTER

Notice is hereby given that the City of Claremore will receive SEALED BIDS # 2012-26 for the ROOF SENIOR CENTER at the office of the Central Purchasing until 1.30 pm, FEBRUARY 26TH, 2013, and then publicly opened and read aloud at the City Hall Council Chambers. All bids must include assurances that the special terms and conditions, contained in these bid documents, will be complied with.

Copies of the contract bid documents, specifications and plans may be obtained at the office of CITY OF CLAREMORE, CENTRAL PURCHASING OFFICE, 104 SOUTH MUSKOGEE AVENUE, CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA 74017 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $100.00 for each set. All of which will be retained by the City. Bids filed with Central Purchasing shall be publicly opened at the time stated above and considered by the Mayor and Council in the following regular Council meeting. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.

A cashier's check, a certified check or a surety bond for five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Purchase fees for bid documents will not be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. All paperwork in the bids submitted shall be complete. Any incomplete paperwork shall be considered an unresponsive bid. Bidders agree to commence work within ten (10) calendar days after the date of a Notice to Proceed work order issued by the City, and to complete the same within 90 CALENDAR DAYS. The City of Claremore reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractor must have prior experience with road construction projects.

Bidders shall be required to attend a MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE to be held at 1:30 pm on FEBRURY 19, 2013 at the City Hall Council Chambers, 104 South Muskogee, Claremore, Oklahoma. NO BID SHALL BE ACCEPTED FROM BIDDERS NOT PRESENT OR REPRESENTED AT THIS CONFERENCE.
