PUBLISHED IN THE CLAREMORE DAILY PROGRESS, CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA, FEBRUARY 15, 22, MARCH 1 & 8, 2013.

Legal Notice

Sherwood Construction Company, Inc., P.O. Box 10, Catoosa, OK 74015 has submitted a permit application to the Oklahoma Department of Mines (ODM) to mine topsoil and fill soil through the surface mining method on portions of the following parcels of land:

S/2, Section 10 and NE/4, NW/4 Section 15, T20N, R14E, Rogers County, Oklahoma.

The total permit area, containing 120.25 acres, is located on the Mingo USGS quadrangle map.  The permit area is located approximately three miles west of the Port of Catoosa on the south side of State Highway 266. Bird Creek borders the west and south sides of the proposed permit area.

A copy of this complete permit application is available for public inspection and copying at the Rogers County Courthouse, 219 S. Missouri Avenue, Claremore, OK.

Upon written request to the Oklahoma Department of Mines, information contained in the permit application may be inspected or copied at the Department of Mines.  Any landowner or resident of any occupied dwelling, any public entity or public agency, or any party that may be adversely affected has the right to submit comments or object to the issuance of the permit in writing.  An informal conference will be provided if specifically requested in writing.  Any written objections or requests for an informal conference on this application must be received no later than fourteen (14) days after the final publication of this notice to the
