ORDINANCE 2013-4

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PARCEL OF LAND IN THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 16 EAST CITY OF CLAREMORE, ROGERS COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, FROM CG (COMMERCIAL GENERAL) AND IL (INDUSTRIAL LIGHT) TO RM-3 (RESIDENTIAL MULTIFAMILY HIGH INTENSITY) AND DIRECTING THE APPROPRIATE AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA, AS FOLLOWS.

Section 1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the City of Claremore-Rogers County Metropolitan Area Planning Commission, the zoning designation and/or classification of the following described real property located within the City of Claremore, Rogers County, State of Oklahoma, to-wit:

A portion of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NW/4 NE/4 NE/4) of Section 8,Township 21 North, Range 16 East, City of Claremore, Rogers County, Oklahoma, more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (SW/4 NE/4 NE/4) of said Section 8, said point also being the Southeast corner of “WILLOW BEND,” an Addition to the City of Claremore; thence N 00˚03’06” E along the East line of said Addition a distance of 822.32 feet to a point; thence S 89˚57’29” E a distance of 61.01 feet to a point, said point being the point of beginning; thence S 89˚57’29” E a distance of 275.87 feet to a point 66.13 feet West of the Northwest corner of “ROWE HEIGHTS ADDITION,” an Addition to the City of Claremore, said point also being on the extension of the North line of said Addition; thence S 89˚50’29” E along the extension of and the North line of said Addition a distance of 231.13 feet to a point; thence N 00˚02’17” E a distance of 14.52 feet to a point; thence S 89˚52’09” E a distance of 41.21 feet to a point; thence S 00˚02’17” W a distance of 159.50 feet to a point on the North line of dedicated 10^th Street; thence S 89˚51’39” E along said North line a distance of 50.00 feet to a point on the East line of said NW/4 NE/4 NE/4; thence N 00˚02’17” E along said East line a distance of 365.36 feet to a point lying 272.02 feet South of the Northeast corner of said NW/4 NE/4 NE/4; thence S 78˚40’20” W a distance of 50.89 feet to a point; thence S 58˚58’33” W a distance of 48.82 feet to a point; thence S 76˚19’08” W a distance of 113.94 feet to a point; thence N 80˚10’00” W a distance of 215.00 feet to a point; thence N 46˚00’00” W a distance of 73.00 feet to a point; thence N 20˚46’00” W a distance of 76.73 feet to a point; thence N 00˚20’51” E a distance of 44.59 feet to a point; thence N 89˚52’09” W on a line 126.50 feet South of and parallel to the North line of said Section 8 a distance of 104.41 feet to a point on the East line of said “WILLOW BEND” Addition; thence S 00˚02’14” W along said East line a distance of 207.37 feet to a point; thence S 00˚02’14” W a distance of 158.84 feet to the point of Beginning containing 3.195 acres more or less.

is hereby changed from CG(Commercial General District) and IL (Industrial Light Intensity District) to RM-3 (Residential Multifamily High Intensity)

Section 2. The City of Claremore-Rogers County Metropolitan Area Planning Commission is hereby directed to amend the zoning map of the City of Claremore to reflect the above.
