PUBLISHED IN THE CLAREMORE DAILY PROGRESS, CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA, FEBRUARY 3, 2013.

INVITATION TO BID

Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 1500 to 1507, Title 19 O.S., bid for County purchases in excess of $10,000.00 are to be solicited by the County Clerk’s Purchasing Agent.  The bids will be evaluated and awarded by the Board of County Commissioners at the time and date listed at the end of this invitation.

Bid Number #601 – Vehicle Equipment

GENERAL:  Rogers County is requesting sealed bids Emergency Vehicle Equipment for the Rogers County Sheriff’s Department.  The car(s) shall be fully serviced and ready to operate.  Successful bidder shall meet or exceed the following bid specifications.

LED Light Bar Red/Blue 54 Inches, Traffic Director, LED Takedowns, LED Alley Lights with all mounting hardware.(Vendor will be required to work with current installed equipment and use some current equipment on new vehicles)

 

 

800 MHZ Scanner

 

 

Corner/Undercover LED’s Qty 2 front and 2 rear

 

 

Dual Shotgun Rack (Shotgun/AR 15) (Pro Guard, Lund, Setina, or equivalent

 

 

LED Flashlight with charger to be installed and wired into vehicle. Streamlight DS LED stinger or equivalent

 

 

Push Bumper/Grill Guard for above listed vehicles. GoRhino, Ranch Hand, or equivalent

 

 

LED Grill Lights qty 2 per vehicle(min 4 to 6 leds per light)

 

 

Equipment console, must be must be spec’ed for above listed vehicles. Jotto, Havis, Gambler Johnson, or equivalent

 

 

Dual Cup Holder for above console

 

 

Two 100 Watt siren speakers per vehicle

 

 

Siren/Controller/light control SO 380R or equivalent

VHF Antenna

 

 

Single Cage for SUV or Sedan

 

 

Radar dual antenna with mounting hardware. Either Dual K or KA Decataur Genesis II connect or equivalent(Vendor must reinstall some current installed units

 

 

Vehicle Graphics (All graphics must be approved by RCSO and will be a five year vinyl material

 

 

Installation Cost

 

 

All equipment will be installed per manufacture, all wiring and circuit breakers will be provided by vendor. There will be a master 150 amp circuit breaker/disconnect  switch installed

 

 

Vendor will be provided a one year warranty on installation services

 

 

Vendor must provide Rogers County with a timeline to complete the project

 

 

Vendor must be able to work with RCSO to ensure the equipment is set up for the best operating conditions for the department. Setting up the light controls, scanner frequency, siren controls, mounting of speakers, etc

ANY CHANGES ON SUBMITTED BID, FROM VENDOR, MUST BE INITIALLED, Including but not limited to:  strike-outs, over-writes or white-out

Sealed bids will be opened in the Rogers County Commissioner’s Meeting Room 1-109, Rogers County Courthouse, 219 South Missouri Avenue, Claremore, Oklahoma,

Tuesday, February 19th, 2013 @ 9:00a.m. C. S. T.

Facsimiles or electronic submissions will not be accepted

Purchases by Rogers County, Oklahoma are not subject to State or Federal Taxes.

Oklahoma Law requires each bidder submitting a bid to Rogers County for goods or services to furnish a notarized sworn statement of non-collusion.

Late bids will not be considered.  Bids must be received in sealed envelopes (one to an envelope) with bid number and closing date written on the outside of the envelope.

Rogers County reserves the right to delete any item and reject any and all bids, to accept in whole or in part, to waive any informalities, or technicalities in bids received, to accept bids on materials, or equipment with variations from specification in those cases where efficiency of operation will not be impaired and unless otherwise specified by the bidder or accept any item in the bid.

Recognizing that preparing a bid involves considerable effort, your observance of the foregoing instructions will help insure that your bid will receive proper processing for its presentation to the Board of County Commissioners for consideration.
