PUBLISHED IN THE CLAREMORE DAILY PROGRESS, CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA, JANUARY 4 & 11, 2013.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS:

BID OPENING:    2:00 P.M. CENTRAL TIME, February 1, 2013

The Grand River Dam Authority, hereinafter called the Owner, will receive Bids on:

Contract No. 39929

Construction Services for

Microwave Site Standby Generators

at the Grand River Dam Authority Administrative Headquarters, located at 226 W. Dwain Willis Ave, Vinita, Oklahoma, 74301 and will be opened at 2:00 PM Central Time, February 1, 2013, and then publicly opened and read aloud at a designated place.    Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked “Sealed Bid – Contract No 39929- Construction Services for Microwave Site Standby Generators.”.  Bids received after this time or more than ninety-six (96) hours excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays before the time set for the opening of bids will not be accepted.  Bids must be turned in at the above office during the time period set forth.  All interested parties are invited to attend.

Sealed Bids shall be submitted to the following address:

The Contract Documents may be examined during normal office hours beginning January 4, 2013 in the office of the Grand River Dam Authority, Administrative Headquarters, 226 W. Dwain Willis Ave., Vinita, OK  74301 and copies may be obtained upon request and payment of fee.

A  mandatory pre bid conference will be conducted at 10:00 AM Central Time, January 14, 2013 at GRDA’s Transmission Headquarters, 635 HWY 69A, Pryor, Oklahoma.  A job site examination will follow at the adjacent land west of the Transmission Headquarters building in Pryor, Oklahoma.  All bidders who plan to submit bids must attend the pre-bid meeting.  Any additional questions concerning the bid will be accepted during the meeting.

The plan for site visits is as follows:

January 14, 2013) Pryor, Big Cabin, Ketchum, Grove, Jay, Kansas, Locust Grove, Chimney Rock

January 15) Keetonville, Skiatook, Hominy, Stillwater, Silver City

January 16) Gore, Sallisaw

January 17)Visit any remaining from pre bid date or from second viewing date

January 18) Visit any remaining sites

Attendance at site visits after the first three sites is not mandatory.  However, bidders will still be held responsible for having knowledge of all sites as if they had been present at the viewings

Each Bid must be submitted in accordance with the “Requirements for Bidding and Instructions to Bidders” contained in the Request for Proposal.  Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid.  Each Bid shall contain a completed Non Collusion Affidavit and other documents, using the forms provided in the Request for Proposal.  The Grand River Dam Authority reserves the right waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids.
