PUBLISHED IN THE CLAREMORE DAILY PROGRESS, CLAREMORE, OKLAHOMA, JANUARY 21, 28 & FEBRUARY 4, 2010.

PROCLAMATION AND NOTICE OF ELECTION

Under and by virtue of Section 26, Article 10 of the Oklahoma Constitution and Title 70, Article XV, Oklahoma Statutes 2001, and other laws supplementary and amendatory thereto and a Resolution of the Board of Education of Independent School District Number 7 of Rogers County, Oklahoma, adopted on the 9th day of November, 2009, an election is hereby called to be held in said School District on the 9th day of February, 2010, for the purpose of submitting to the registered qualified electors thereof the following proposition:

PROPOSITION

“Shall Independent School District Number 7 of Rogers County, Oklahoma, incur an indebtedness by issuing its bonds in the sum of Three Million Five Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($3,530,000) to provide funds to be issued in series for the purpose of constructing, equipping, repairing and remodeling school buildings, acquiring school furniture, fixtures and equipment and acquiring and improving school sites and levy and collect an annual tax, in addition to all other taxes, upon all the taxable property in such District sufficient to pay the interest on such bonds as it falls due and also to constitute a sinking fund for the payment of the principal thereof when due, said bonds to bear interest not to exceed the rate of ten (10%) percentum per annum, payable semi-annually and to become due serially within ten (10) years from their date?”

The voting machines or voting devises used at said election shall set out the proposition as above set forth and shall also contain the words:

The polls shall be opened at seven O’clock A.M. and remain open continuously until and be closed at seven O’clock P.M.

The number and location of the polling places and the names of the persons who shall conduct said election shall be designated by the County Election Board(s). Such officers shall also act as counters.

The specific projects for which at least seventy (70%) percent of the proceeds of the aforesaid Bonds shall be expended and the dollar amounts for each project shall be as follows:

Construct, equip, remodel and or renovate the

Baseball fields and the Elementary School

Office $ 275,000.00







Complete the remodel, renovations at Elementary School

Office and construct, equip and furnish Phase I of a

New Cafeteria to include but not be limited to site

Preparation $ 150,000.00



Construct, equip and furnish Phase II of a new Cafeteria

To include but not be limited to completion of site preparation

And foundation concrete $ 340,000.00



Construct, equip and furnish Phase III of a new Cafeteria

To include but not be limited to foundation concrete$ 95,000.00



Construct, equip and furnish Phase IV of a new Cafeteria

To include but not be limited to completion of foundation

Concrete and exterior walls $ 275,000.00



Construct, equip and furnish Phase V of a new Cafeteria

To include but not be limited to completion of exterior walls $ 200,000.00



Construct, equip and furnish Phase VI of a new Cafeteria

To include but not be limited to roof and roof fixtures $340,000.00



Construct, equip and furnish Phase VII of a new Cafeteria

To include but not be limited to completion of roof and

Roof fixtures, and heating and air conditioning fixtures and equipment $175,000.00



Construct, equip and furnish Phase VIII of a new Cafeteria

To include but not be limited to completion of heating and air

conditioning fixtures and equipment $ 295,000.00



Construct, equip and furnish the Completion Phase of a new Cafeteria

To include but not be limited to interior walls, plumbing fixtures,

electrical fixtures, flooring and other furniture, fixtures and equipment $1,385,000.00



Total: $3,530,000.00
