INVITATION/ADVERTISEMENT TO BID
SEALED BIDS for construction of Wastewater Lagoon Closure for the City of Catoosa-Catoosa Public Works Authority will be received by the City Clerk’s Office of the City of Catoosa, Oklahoma at City Hall, 214 South Cherokee, Catoosa, Oklahoma 74015 until 10:00A.M., December 3, 2012, and then publicly opened and read aloud.
The work to be performed under this contract generally consists of the closure of the City’s two wastewater lagoons, including earthwork, finish grading, and the establishment of grass cover.
Copies of the plans and specifications are on file and may be examined at the office of ALLGEIER, MARTIN and ASSOCIATES, INC., Consulting Engineers, 7231 East 24th Street, Joplin, Missouri 64804, and/or at the City Clerk’s Office at Catoosa City Hall at 214 South Cherokee, Catoosa, OK 74015.

Digital download cost is $20 which may be paid online via a credit card. Paper copies of Plans and Specifications may be secured for a non-refundable fee in the amount of $50 per set from the Engineers office located at 7231 East 24th Street in Joplin, Missouri or by contacting us at 417.680.7200 Ext. 7353. Please note: It is the sole responsibility of all planholders whether they have received digital downloads or paper copies of Plans and Specifications, to return to the Engineers website at www.amce.com periodically to check for Addenda which may have been posted.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects or to reject any or all bids and to readvertise and to rebid.
Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of five percent (5%) of his bid which is subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
The project is governed by the mandatory provisions of the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act of 1974 (OKLA. STAT. Tit. 61, § § 101, et seq.) (the “Act”).
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within Ninety (90) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
