SOLICITATION FOR BIDS

(BID NOTICE)



Sealed bids will be received by the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board (OERB) until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 for:



Milam 2, Gillespie

OERB Project #s F551.1-H061

Rogers and Osage Counties



Work on these projects includes removing and disposing of the concrete, flowlines, anchors, debris and NORM impacted soil, dispersing the weathered hydrocarbons, installing a sediment control barrier, constructing a pond, grading, applying amendments, and planting. The estimate of cost is over $30,000.



Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained by contacting BEACON Environmental Assistance Corporation at 405-330-8688. No deposit is required for the Bid Documents.



Mandatory pre-bid conferences will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 beginning at the Milam 2 site. Only those firms represented at the pre-bid conferences will be permitted to bid on the projects. Directions to the initial site are included in the Bid Documents.



Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form included in the Bid Documents and in strict compliance with instructions on the form. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the OERB office, 3555 NW 58 Street, Suite 430, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, immediately following the closing time stated above. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, before the time set for opening bids will not be considered and will be returned unopened.



If the bid exceeds $30,000.00, a cashier’s check, a certified check or surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed bid of each bidder. Security checks will be returned to all but the three lowest bidders immediately after the bid opening. The three lowest bid securities will be retained until the contract is awarded. A contract must be executed within twenty (20) days following the award to the successful bidder.
