Grand Adventures Second Wednesday Luncheon, 11:30 a.m., at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Christmas entertainment by Robert Churchill. Reservations: Don, 477-3337.

The women of Foyil United Methodist Church host their monthly dinner, beginning at 11 a.m. Menu includes the choice of fried chicken or meat loaf and side items for $7.

Mt. Zion Baptist Church hosts a Soul Food benefit dinner each Wednesday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost, $6. Pick up at the church, 805 N. Oseuma (no delivery available). Information: 341-1509.



THURSDAY

Claremore High School presents “A Christmas Story,” Thursday through Saturday, 7 p.m., Black Box Theatre, Robson Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students, with $1 off per ticket for new and unwrapped toy donation to benefit Toys for Tots. Tickets available at Robson PAC Box office or by calling 699-7390.

Country Fare Quilters Guild meeting, 11:00 a.m., at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1304 N. Dorothy. Holiday potluck luncheon. Open to the public. Information: Judy Haines, 342-0577.

Verdigris Family Literacy Council hosts “Winter Wonderland Family Literacy Night,” 6:30 p.m., in the Verdigris Elementary commons area. Storytellers will present their favorite winter and Christmas stories to families. Participants are welcome to wear their pajamas for these bedtime stories. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served. Free and open to the public.

Rogers County Real Estate Association Christmas luncheon, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., at Northeast Technology Center Claremore campus. Members and non members welcome.

Rogers County United Way annual meeting, 5 p.m., at Claremore Community Center, 2301 N. Sioux. New board members will be elected. The fundraising campaign Victory Celebration Party will begin at 5:30.



FRIDAY

Claremore DAV #44 sponsors a $5 jewelry and accessory fundraiser, Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., 801 W. Dupont.



SATURDAY (Dec. 12)

Foyil JOM hosts a Holiday Cultural Feast. Several cultural presenters are planned. 100 free tickets are available for JOM students and their parents. Information: Frankie Long, 342-3803.
