Application deadline for Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) classes to be Tuesday, Jan. 26 through Thursday, Jan. 28. Courses are offered by the Claremore Police Department and Safenet Services and will be held 6-9 p.m. for three nights at Will Rogers Junior High in Claremore. Applications or to register, call Safenet Services at 341-1424.



SATURDAY (Jan. 23)

Author Carl Hein booksigning, 11 a.m., at A Place of Grace Christian Bookstore, 321 West Will Rogers Boulevard. Hein will be available to sign copies of his Christian fiction novel, “Hear the Thunder.” Information: 342-4744.

Applications for Claremore’s sixth annual “Citizen’s Police Academy” are due. CPA will be one night a week for 11 consecutive weeks beginning Feb. 25 and offers participants instruction in police procedure, training, and more. Information: Lt.
