Claremore Duplicate Bridge Club, 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m., at Claremore Community Center, 2301 N. Sioux. FRIDAY (Jan. 29)

Central Upper Elementary (CUE) Winter Festival 6-8 p.m. in the CUE Gym (entrance from the north side). Family fun event with games, food, silent auction, raffle, and more. Tickets are 25 cents each for games. In case of inclement weather, CUE Winter Fest will be rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 5.

Claremore Chamber of Commerce Gridiron “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood” 7 p.m. Rogers State University Centennial Center. Tickets $12 each, $8 with student ID. Tickets available at Chamber offices 416 West Will Rogers Boulevard. Proceeds from Friday show go to benefit Chamber scholarships.

Rogers County Conservation District has funds available for cost-share assistance on selected conservation practices benefiting soil and water conservation. Applications accepted through Feb. 19. For a list of eligible conservation practices, call 341-4147.



SATURDAY (Jan. 30)

Frozen Fun & Dance Night for fourth through sixth graders 6:30-10 p.m. at Claremore Community Center. $5 per youth. DJ, games, concessions and more.

Claremore Girls Softball Association sign-ups every Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Rec Center. Information: www.claremoresoftball.com.

Rogers County baseball sign-ups for ages 4-14, Saturday, Jan. 23 and 30, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Claremore Rec Center.

Channel 8 basketball team will play the Verdigris faculty at Verdigris High School, 7 p.m., as a fundraiser for the Senior Class Lock-In. Tickets are $3 for adults, $2 for students, and free for children 5 and younger.

Claremore Symphony League annual ball in the Centennial Center Ballroom at Rogers State University. Social hour from 6-7 p.m. with dinner to be served from 7-8:30 p.m., including live entertainment, followed by dancing and live music by RSU Jazz Band. Tickets are $50 a person for evening. Deadline for donations to the “Haitian Relief Kits.” Items needed include bar soap, shampoo, laundry soap, sanitary pads, fingernail clippers, adhesive bandages, and more. Drop-off points are Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, 1st Baptist Church and Unrau’s Locker in Inola, Kroeker’s Family Medical in Chouteau, and The Book Exchange in Pryor.
