‘OK’ is not just OK

Tuesday’s hype and ceremony surrounding the official groundbreaking on Oklahoma Plaza in south Claremore culminated with the unveiling of seven signed tenants along with an opportunity for Claremore and Rogers County residents to have a say-so in at least five major restaurant choices.

While the big box stores may not be part of this project, the Oklahoma Plaza is still on track to be a premier lifestyle center offering shopping, dining, entertainment and residential living options that are sure to attract the attention of people from all over the region.

The announcements of five retail stores and two hotels left attendees at Tuesday night’s Economic Summit at Will Rogers Downs wanting more. If the past 18 months of effort from the City of Claremore and Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority officials are any indications, no one will not be disappointed.

The tag line for the Oklahoma Plaza project indicates that Claremore is a place where being labeled ‘OK’ translates into excellence. And, that’s OK with us.
